Amrut Indian Single Malt

Nose : Distinctly confidant liquorice-bourborn notes with near perfect bitter-sweet balance; burnt honeycomb and toffee also abount. Taste : Outstanding richness and sheen to the enormous barley-oak sweetness; again, but there is a big bourbony cut to the cloth with all the liquorice and molassed sugar normally but the barley adds that extra dimension. Finish : Long, wonderfully layered oak offering variations of a sweet-dry theme; a touch silky wih some cream toffee at the death; This whisky is produced from barley grown in the north-west frontier of India. After malting this whisky is distilled, matured in New American Oak and Ex-Bourbon casks and bottled in our distillery in Bangalore, South of India. This is unchilfiltered. Cotswolds Signature Single Malt

Crafted in the heart of the English countryside, Cotswolds Signature Single Malt Whisky is a testament to tradition and meticulous detail. This award-winning expression uses only the finest locally grown barley, traditionally floor-malted to unlock its full potential. The Cotswolds Distillery prides itself on using local ingredients, and this single malt is no exception. The barley is sourced from the Cotswolds themselves, and the water used in production comes from the village supply – filtered, softened, and demineralised to ensure purity. For a truly complex flavour profile, Cotswolds Signature Single Malt undergoes a thoughtful maturation process. A marriage of whiskies matured in two distinct cask types creates a symphony of flavours. First-fill ex-bourbon barrels impart the classic vanilla, honey, and caramel notes associated with American oak. These notes are then complemented by maturation in STR (Shaved, Toasted, and Re-charred) ex-red wine barriques. These unique casks, once used for red wine, infuse the whisky with hints of red fruit and a subtle touch of spice. The result is a single malt whisky that is both smooth and characterful. The aroma offers a delightful mix of honeyed sweetness, ripe red apples, and a touch of citrus peel. The first sip is a revelation, with honey and Seville orange flavours giving way to rich marmalade and dark red fruits. A hint of treacle lingers on the finish, creating a truly memorable taste experience.
