Bazar Pinot Noir Gewurztraminer 2025

Two grape-filled trailers, one red, one white, one chaotic winery and an inevitable oops. Et voila, Quel Bazar! A happy accident turned into a liquid masterpiece by winemaker Guillaume Letang at Maison Boutinot in the Languedoc Roussillon . This co-fermented collision of Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer is juicy, aromatic and wonderfully unpredictable, because the best things in life rarely are. Why You'll Love It This is Red Wine with a wild side. The co-fermentation of Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer produces a wine that defies easy categorisation, bright and bouncy with red fruit character and aromatic lift in equal measure. Equally enjoyable lightly chilled, it is the kind of bottle that surprises and delights in equal measure. Vegetarian and vegan. Vineyard and Production Sourced from IGP Pays d'Oc vineyards in the Languedoc, where both varieties are co-fermented together to create a wine that is fun, bright and full of character. The co-fermentation allows the aromatic intensity of the Gewurztraminer to weave seamlessly through the red cherry fruit of the Pinot Noir, producing a result greater than the sum of its parts. Tasting Notes Red cherry notes from the Pinot Noir meet lychee and tropical fruit from the Gewurztraminer, creating a flavour that is both charming and unexpected. Juicy and aromatic with refreshing acidity and a lively, expressive finish. Perfect Pairings An excellent match for Asian dishes such as sticky plum duck and fragrant Thai curry. Also well suited to creamy salmon risotto and enjoyed lightly chilled on a warm evening. Grape Varieties Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer

The Listening Station Malbec 2024

The Listening Station Malbec from Swan Hill offers intense colour, chocolatey depth, and fresh, mineral-edged fruit. Part of Boutinot Australia 's Listening Station range, this is a bold yet balanced red that demonstrates how Australia delivers characterful Malbec with real appeal, sourced entirely from a single estate vineyard in Victoria . Why You'll Love It The Listening Station range is known for consistent quality and approachable styles that deliver exceptional value. The Malbec is sourced from a 5-hectare estate vineyard in Swan Hill planted in 2000, where vines grow on their own roots in red sandy loam with a limestone clay base, producing concentrated fruit thanks to the tough growing conditions. This is Australian Malbec with chocolatey richness, ripe fruit, and a streak of crisp minerality that sets it apart from more obvious New World styles. Vineyard and Production Grapes are machine-harvested at night to preserve freshness before fermentation in stainless steel at 25 degrees with regular pump-overs for three weeks to extract colour and structure. Malolactic fermentation follows, with 50% of the blend aged in French and American oak barriques for three months to add complexity and depth. Tasting Notes Dark and inviting, with chocolatey richness, ripe black fruits, and a streak of crisp minerality. Full-bodied yet balanced, this Malbec is both indulgent and fresh, making it highly drinkable. Perfect Pairings Perfect with a rich beef casserole, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, grilled steaks, or barbecued meats. Also excellent with burgers and mature cheeses. Grape Varieties Malbec
