Chattan Groom Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Crisp, refreshing, fruity and bright with underlying minerality and vibrant acidity, this cool climate Sauvignon Blanc reflects the terroir of Sonoma's Russian River Valley. With a nose of tangy gooseberry and a twist of lime this refreshing, fruit-driven wine reveals the many dimensions of the SB grape. Aromas and flavors of lime, mint, honeydew melon continue through to the palate and expand to show passionfruit, nettle, and box hedge flavors that complement the racy acidity and underlying wet slate minerality that pulls the wine together and makes it a perfect partner to the cuisine of spring and summer.

Fruit-forwarded on the nose, bursting with notes of blossom, peach and citrus. Beautifully ripe with a fine line of acidity, this is top stuff. Albert Bichot's impressive range goes all the way up to crazily rare Grands Crus (with hefty price tags to match!), yet we've always been thrilled by their entry-level range of Burgundies. The whites, whether from the Macon, Chablis or Beaune, always offer incredible value for money, whilst the reds capture everything we love about Pinot Noir, with abundant red fruit, great freshness and a wonderful spicy finish.
