Essensia Orange Muscat Quady (Half bottle) 2022

Essensia From 100% Orange Muscat with an aroma reminiscent of Orange Blossom and Apricot, and a lingering refreshing aftertaste, Essensia is used as a dessert accompaniment or a dessert in itself. The Orange Muscat grape variety is little known. It was once grown in France and there are some small plantings in Italy and Australia. The wine is lightly fortified to about 15% alcohol and aged for 3 months in French Oak. The wine tastes balanced, like the taste of fresh fruit. Essensia's vibrant flavour makes it an excellent accompaniment to desserts, particularly chocolate and those containing almonds, peaches, apples, or apricots. It is also used for dipping biscotti, for moistening cakes, or for adding to trifles. With sparkling water, it makes a refreshing spritzer; with sparkling wine it makes Essensia Royale.

Mino & Co A Growers Touch Botrytis Semillon (Half bottle) 2018

Mino & Co A Grower’s Touch Botrytis Semillon is an elegant dessert wine, crafted to showcase the luscious richness and aromatic complexity that botrytis-affected Semillon can achieve. Vineyard and Terroir The grapes are sourced from carefully selected vineyards where the Semillon vines thrive in well-drained soils and a temperate climate. The conditions encourage the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), which concentrates sugars and flavours naturally in the grape. Viticulture Meticulous vineyard management ensures the grapes are healthy and optimally affected by botrytis. Hand-harvesting takes place in multiple passes to pick only the perfectly shrivelled, botrytised berries. Winemaking The grapes are gently pressed, and fermentation occurs slowly at controlled temperatures to preserve the delicate aromatics. The wine is aged briefly in neutral oak or stainless steel to retain purity of fruit and allow the sweetness to integrate with natural acidity, resulting in a balanced and harmonious wine. Tasting Notes The wine exhibits a deep golden hue, reflecting its concentrated nature. The nose is aromatic and complex, offering notes of honey, apricot, candied citrus peel, and hints of marmalade. On the palate, it is rich and luscious, with flavours of preserved fruits, toasted almonds, and subtle spice. A fine thread of natural acidity balances the sweetness, providing a long, elegant finish. Food Pairing Ideal with rich desserts such as crème brûlée, fruit tarts, or blue cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative sipping wine.
