Gremillet Champagne Rose Brut

Rose Champagne Gremillet Brut NV is a fine, full-flavoured expression from a Pinot Noir specialist in the Aube. Delicately hued, creamy in texture, and refreshingly tangy on the finish, this is a classic Pinot Noir rose Champagne that is as beautiful to look at as it is to drink. Why You'll Love It The Gremillet family have specialised in Pinot Noir since founding their estate in 1979, and it shows. Where many rose Champagnes lean on Chardonnay for freshness, Gremillet leads with Pinot Noir for structure and fruit depth, then ages the wine for a minimum of 22 months on its lees, well beyond the 15 months required by Champagne regulations. The result is a rose of genuine complexity and finesse, served in French embassies worldwide. Vineyard and Production Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed for up to two hours to extract the jus de presse, which is then vinified and blended to achieve the wine's delicate colour and vibrant character. Extended lees ageing of at least 22 months ensures full integration of flavours and a creamy, persistent mousse before disgorgement and release. Tasting Notes A delicately hued rose with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose offers fresh red berry fruit and subtle brioche, while the palate shows wonderful texture and elegance. A tangy, refreshing finish leaves you reaching for another glass. Perfect Pairings Delicious served well chilled as an aperitif, but equally excellent alongside roast duck, grilled prawns, or fresh berry desserts. Grape Varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay

Pol Couronne Brut Rosé NV

Pol Couronne's Brut Rosé is light, subtle and powerful at the same time. The colour of this delightful rosé is lightly coppery, the bubble thin and light. You will find notes of red fruits, cherry. With beautiful effervescence, it is supple and round, and has notes of wild strawberries and raspberries that bring an aromatic finale. A wonderful apéritif, or why not try it with a tray of Iberian ham? The Pol Couronne Champagne House was founded in 1887. For over a century, sustainable vineyard practices and winemaking traditions have been used to create characterful and high quality wines. Pol Couronne embraces the complexity of assemblage (the blending of the grapes within a wine) by working with vineyards across the Champagne region that best emphasise the character of each varietal. For example, the sandy-clay soils of Avize produce a special minerality within the Chardonnay grape that adds linearity and freshness to their wine. "Our cuvee Brut Rosé is made with due respect for tradition. We select our best Pinot Meunier to produce a red Coteaux champenois which will bring this Brut Rosé its splendid colour. This champagne will win you over with its modernity." JB Prevost "The development of this cuvée is carried out with respect for traditions. We select our most beautiful Pinot Meunier to create a Coteaux champagne which will bring this magnificent colour to our Brut Rosé, a champagne that will seduce you." Pol Couronne • 27% Chardonnay, 26% Pinot Noir, 33% Pinot Meunier + 14% red Coteaux champenois (base Pinot Meunier)
