Seifried Old Coach Road Unoaked Chardonnay 2022

Seifried Nelson Unoaked Chardonnay is a fresh and vibrant New Zealand white wine, showcasing the pure fruit expression of Chardonnay without oak influence. Crisp, aromatic, and flavoursome, it highlights tropical and stonefruit characters with lively acidity and a long, satisfying finish. Meet the Vineyard The grapes are sourced from Seifried’s Brightwater Vineyard, situated 15km from the coast and sheltered by the Richmond Ranges. The stony soils retain warmth, helping the fruit achieve optimal ripeness while producing concentrated, aromatic Chardonnay. Winemaking Grapes are carefully harvested at peak ripeness and gently pressed. The juice undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the natural tropical fruit and stonefruit aromas. Partial malolactic fermentation softens the acidity, after which the wine is stabilised and bottled to maintain freshness and purity. Tasting Notes Pale straw in colour, Seifried Nelson Unoaked Chardonnay displays aromas of summer stonefruit and tropical mango. The palate is succulent and well-balanced, with vibrant fruit flavours and a warm, supple texture leading to a long, clean finish. Food Pairing Ideal with fresh seafood, shellfish, light poultry dishes, or simply enjoyed on its own as a refreshing white wine. Grape Variety Chardonnay 100%

Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc is a refined, terroir-driven white from South Africa's Walker Bay region, crafted to express the character of three of the Cape's coolest maritime-influenced growing areas rather than varietal intensity alone. Elegant, precise and beautifully textured, this is South African Sauvignon Blanc at its most sophisticated. Why You'll Love It Southern Right sources fruit from Hemel-en-Aarde, Walker Bay and Elgin, three of the Cape's most celebrated cool-climate regions, blending them to create a wine that favours subtlety, texture and balance over overt pungency. Grown on a mix of iron-rich clay, granite and sandstone soils, each site contributes something distinct: clay adds structure and depth, granite brings aromatic lift and openness, while sandstone imparts bright tension and saline minerality. The result is a Sauvignon Blanc of real complexity and restraint. Vineyard & Production Fruit is sourced from vineyards in Hemel-en-Aarde, Walker Bay and Elgin, grown on iron-rich clay, granite and sandstone soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and purity. No oak is used, and the wine is bottled with minimal intervention to maintain clarity and precision. Tasting Notes Brilliant straw-yellow with green reflections. The nose is restrained yet expressive, with aromas of citrus peel, fresh herbs and white flowers, and a dusty mineral edge. Crisp and elegant on the palate, with ripe acidity and a fine, tensile texture. Flavours of grapefruit, lemon zest and subtle vegetal notes lead to a long, savoury finish with a touch of saline complexity. Perfect Pairings Ideal as an aperitif or paired with raw seafood, fresh spring salads, pickled fish, marinated vegetables and soft goat's cheese. Best served chilled at 10 degrees. The Blend Sauvignon Blanc 93%, Semillon 7%
