47 Anno Domini Le Argille Cabernet di Cabernet is a bold and sophisticated red from the Veneto, crafted from an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Aged for 24 months in cement vats, this is a wine of real depth, structure and Italian elegance. Why You'll Love It This is Veneto Cabernet at its most ambitious. Using the innovative Double Reasoned Maturation (DMR) technique where selected branches are clamped before full ripeness, allowing grapes to concentrate on the vine 47 Anno Domini produces a wine of exceptional complexity and refinement. Vineyard & Production A 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, sourced from carefully tended Veneto vineyards. The DMR technique encourages greater concentration and structure before harvest. The wine is then aged for 24 months in cement vats to preserve purity and fruit integrity, followed by a sensory evaluation to determine the ideal bottling moment and a further minimum six months of bottle ageing before release. The nose opens with ripe blueberry, blackberry and plum, layered with black cherry, vanilla, dark chocolate and a whisper of tobacco and green pepper.
