Coto de Pelayo crafts their Bouza do Rei from Albariño vines growing in the granite soils of Rías Baixas, where Atlantic breezes and morning mists create perfect conditions for this aromatic white grape. This 2023 vintage captures everything we love about Galician Albariño: bright stone fruit married to that distinctive saline edge that makes your mouth water. We find this style at its brilliant best when young and fresh, showing the grape's natural affinity for seafood and its ability to cut through rich sauces whilst maintaining elegance.
