Situated at the eastern end of the Grands Crus hill, the Blanchots vineyard owes its name to its light-coloured soils, a mixture of whitish limestone and clay-limestone subsoils, sometimes marked by hints of bluish clay. Set on a steep slope in a relatively cool area, the plot enjoys mainly morning sunshine, a key factor that favours the production of wines of great liveliness, always characterised by remarkable finesse and an elegant floral signature. This cuvée stands out for its balance between intensity and precision, offering an expressive aromatic palette blending delicate flowers, ripe fruit and hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it captivates with its controlled richness, full-bodied without excess, underpinned by a mineral backbone that draws the wine towards a clean, fresh and crystalline finish. The wine as a whole bears witness to meticulous work and consummate expertise, revealing the full complexity and potential of this exceptional terroir, destined to establish itself as an essential benchmark in the years to come.
