Meet the Producer The Sichel Family has been active in Bordeaux winemaking since the 1960s, establishing a network of vineyards and cellars in the region. Production Vineyards are planted on south-southwest facing slopes with diverse soils ranging from limestone with shingly gravel at the peaks to clay-limestone mid-slope and fine gravel with silica at the foot. Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, sorted, and vinified using traditional techniques. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled vats, followed by pressing in pneumatic presses to extract supple tannins. Malolactic fermentation takes place in vats, with the wine aged for six months before bottling.
