Château La Croix de Grézard Lussac-Saint-Émilion is a refined Bordeaux wine that expresses the character and elegance of the Lussac-Saint-Émilion appellation. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils, offering excellent drainage and imparting a fine mineral backbone that enhances the wine’s structure and longevity. Carefully managed, the vines are pruned and harvested to produce grapes of optimal ripeness and concentration. Meet the producer Château La Croix de Grézard is a family-run estate dedicated to crafting traditional Bordeaux wines with modern precision. The estate focuses on producing wines that reflect their terroir while maintaining balance, elegance, and approachable fruit. Production Grapes are hand-picked and rigorously sorted to select only the finest berries. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats with gentle extraction to preserve fruit purity and elegance. The wine undergoes post-fermentation maceration to enhance body and structure, followed by 12–18 months of maturation in French oak barrels, a portion of which are new, providing subtle spice and depth without dominating the fruit character. Tasting notes The wine displays a deep ruby colour with garnet highlights. The nose offers aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherry, cassis, and plum, with hints of cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice.
