Grande Absente Absinthe is introduced as a bold, high‑proof expression of traditional French absinthe, crafted to evoke the intense herbal character and historic mystique of the spirit’s 19th‑century roots. Distilled in Provence using wormwood, anise, mint and other botanicals, it offers a vivid, aromatic profile that appeals to those who enjoy powerful, complex herbal liqueurs with real personality. Its striking green colour and elevated alcohol content give it a dramatic presence both in the glass and in cocktails. The aroma opens with anise, fennel, wormwood and a cool herbal lift. On the palate, it reveals a strong, layered character with flavours of licorice, fresh herbs, subtle spice and the distinctive bitter‑botanical edge that defines classic absinthe. When louched with water, it transforms into a cloudy, opalescent drink that softens the intensity and highlights its more delicate herbal notes. The finish is long, warming and aromatic, leaving a lingering blend of anise and alpine herbs. This spirit stands as a striking addition to any drinks cabinet, ideal for traditional absinthe service, adding depth to cocktails or exploring in creative, aromatic serves. Anyone seeking a robust, authentic and expressive absinthe will find Grande Absente a memorable and compelling choice.
