Retailer-supplied identification details
The description below comes from the retailer. Bottle details and price comparisons are listed above.
Janneau XO Armagnac is a distinguished blend of eaux-de-vie sourced from the Bas-Armagnac and Ténarèze regions, crafted predominantly from Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes. Aged between 10 and over 30 years in oak barrels, it embodies the depth and complexity of traditional Armagnac-making. Presented in an elegant Basquaise bottle, this XO offers a rich aromatic profile with notes of candied plum, Reine-Claude greengage, and red fruits, layered over a subtle oak foundation. On the palate, it reveals a generous and well-balanced character. Flavours of quince, sour cherry, and almond unfold with a velvety texture, complemented by floral undertones and a gentle spice that lingers on the finish. Its refined intensity and harmonious structure make it a superb choice for contemplative sipping or pairing with fine cheeses and dark chocolate
