Louis Jadot Château des Jacques Fleurie is an elegant expression of Gamay from one of the 10 crus of Beaujolais. Located in the charming village between Moulin-à-Vent and Chiroubles, the vineyards are planted on granitic soil with east/south-east orientation where the local wind helps the grapes mature regularly, creating a wine with finesse and character. Part of the wine is vinified traditionally with destemmed grapes and part with whole grapes, with ageing lasting 10 to 12 months in either stainless steel vats or larger casks. This offers exceptional quality and finesse with 2-5 years ageing potential depending on the vintage.
