San Marzano 62 Anniversario Primitivo di Manduria Riserva 2020 is a richly expressive Primitivo crafted from some of the oldest bush vines in Manduria region of Italy , with many over sixty years of age. Grown on iron-rich red soils with fragments of limestone and cooled by gentle Mediterranean breezes, the grapes reach exceptional concentration and natural ripeness. Hand-harvested at dawn to preserve freshness, the fruit undergoes slow fermentation and extended maceration to draw out deep colour, lush texture and fragrant complexity. The wine is then matured in French and American oak barrels, allowing its intense black fruit, spice and velvety tannins to harmonise into a beautifully opulent, luxurious expression of Primitivo di Manduria.
