This dependable expression, now in its 2022 edition, has been triple distilled at a Northern Irish distillery—fans of Irish whiskey might enjoy guessing which one. It has been matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, resulting in a full-flavoured single malt brimming with character. Limited to a release of 6,000 bottles, this whiskey features a scent of honeycomb and toffee ice cream, accompanied by a sprinkling of diced almonds and a hint of toasted brioche. On the palate, you'll discover roasted nuts, spiced walnut loaf, a touch of milky coffee, diced apricots, and juicy peaches. The aftertaste lingers with the sweetness of caramel, highlighted by a subtle crackle of cassia in the background.
