With its bold character and virtually zero sugar content, Audax is one of the most contemporary Prosecco wines in Bortolomiol's “Tradizionali Millesimati” range. Embodying one of the most classic expressions of Prosecco Superiore, it fully reflects the vision and pioneering spirit of Giuliano Bortolomiol, the first to produce a brut version of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene (in the 1960s). Hailing from the hillsides of the small Cartizze wine-growing area, which produces the appellation's finest wines, and made using the Charmat method, the Prosecco Superiore DOCG di Valdobbiadene Audax 2024 preserves the delicate, aromatic bouquet of the Glera grape, whilst perfectly refreshing the palate. Soft and complex on the palate, it blends notes of citrus, apricot, flaked almonds and meadow herbs, with remarkable length. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with fried fish or beef and chicken skewers.
