Waterford Hook Head Edition 1.1 is a single farm origin Irish single malt whisky made exclusively from Propino barley grown at Hook Head farm on the southern tip of County Wexford, using the 2015 harvest. Hook Head is one of Ireland's most distinctive coastal terroirs, a narrow peninsula jutting into the Celtic Sea where Atlantic winds and maritime soils shape the character of the barley from the ground up. Production Record Barley variety: Propino. Harvest: 2015. Maturation: 3 years, 8 months in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels, virgin American oak, and French oak casks. ABV: 50%.
