A series must contain at least three daily observations and one price change. Values below £1, above £5,000 or with a low-to-high range above 100% are excluded as likely identity or pack-size anomalies.

“Current” means the latest retained daily snapshot, not a guaranteed checkout price. Delivery, coupons, loyalty prices and separately labelled live-shopping results are excluded. A price fall is not automatically a merchant-advertised sale, and a wide range is not a quality or investment score.
