Sagamore Spirit Signature Straight Rye is the core expression from the Baltimore‑based distillery, built around a blend of two proprietary rye mashbills — one high‑rye and one low‑rye — both distilled in Indiana and proofed with limestone‑filtered Maryland spring water. The goal is to revive the classic Maryland‑style rye, known historically for being slightly sweeter and more rounded than the spicier ryes of Pennsylvania or Kentucky. Its aroma shows warm baking spice, caramel, orange peel and a touch of vanilla.
