Saumaize (formerly Domaine des Maillettes) is now run by Guillaume Saumaize, who continues the estate’s tradition of crafting expressive, terroir-driven wines from carefully selected plots in Burgundy. Production Grapes are sourced from the limestone soils of the Les Creuzettes vineyard, with vines aged at least 35 years. Hand-harvested fruit is pressed and cold-fermented, then aged in stainless steel for 11 months to preserve freshness and purity. Tasting Notes Bright and aromatic, with acacia, lemon, and freshly cut white peach on the nose.
