Soil structure and vine density
No site-specific soil or planting-density record is available for this bottle.
Growing-temperature context
For general cultivar-level heat guidance, see the Tempranillo growing profile. BottlePicker does not apply a generic range to this bottle without a verified vineyard link.
Official geographic-register context
What the official register confirms about Ribera del Duero
BottlePicker found an exact region-name match in an official wine or spirits register. This establishes useful regional context; it does not by itself prove that this particular bottle is entitled to the designation. Check the producer label and specification for that claim.

Cellar for up to 12 years. No need to decant before serving. Aalto is an exciting young project founded in Ribera del Duero by Mariano Garcia, the famous winemaker of Bodegas Vega Sicilia, and Javier Zaccagnini who is a renowned expert in wine business management. The duo came together with a joint vision to produce outstanding wines from the local Tinta Fina or Tempranillo grape and capture the beauty of the terroir in this striking Spanish region. In total the winery has 32 hectares of vineyards which have been carefully replanted from old Tinta Fina clones chosen for their quality and intensity of flavour. Aalto’s state-of-the-art winery is partially buried underground to create barrel rooms which are naturally kept at optimum temperature for ageing their wines. Aalto is their second wine which is crafted from 40-80 year old vines planted in seven different villages in the Burgos province along with some fruit from Aalto’s own younger vineyards. The wine is aged in French and American oak for 16 months to help soften the firm tannins and add extra polish and complexity to the cuvee. This is a dark and handsome Tinta Fina that’s bursting with ripe cherry, cassis, spice and coffee bean notes which evolve on the palate into wild berry, dark chocolate and leather.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
