Why You'll Love It
This is authentic Moscato d'Asti from Piedmont, the original and finest expression of this celebrated style. At just 5% ABV it is wonderfully light and refreshing, making it perfect for any time of day. The natural sweetness comes from halted fermentation, which preserves the grape's aromatic intensity and fresh fruit character in full. Sourced from 30-year-old vines in the Monferrato hills, this wine offers exceptional quality and charm at an outstanding price.
Meet the Producer
Alasia is crafted by Araldica Castelvero, one of Piedmont's most dynamic cooperatives, based in Castel Boglione in the heart of Barbera d'Asti. Known for blending traditional practices with modern winemaking, Araldica consistently delivers wines that showcase the very best of the region. Vineyard and Production Grapes are sourced from members' vineyards in the Monferrato hills, in the southern Asti province of Piedmont. South-west facing vineyards sit at 250 to 400 metres above sea level on limestone-clay soils, trained using the traditional low Guyot trellis system. Vines average 30 years of age at a density of 4,000 to 4,500 per hectare. Fruit is hand-harvested in early September and fermented in pressurised tanks under temperature control. Fermentation is halted by chilling and filtration, retaining natural sweetness and a delicate sparkle at just 5% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Sweet, lightly sparkling, and highly aromatic, with delicate notes of honey and fresh flowers on the nose. The palate shows ripe apricot, juicy grape, and a soft, creamy mousse, with a refreshing streak of acidity that balances the sweetness and leaves a lively, elegant finish.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
