Since 2016, Charlotte Denis has taken over this 30-hectare estate in Mareuil-sur-Cher, on the hillsides of the left bank of the Cher, where she produces Touraine and Touraine-Chenonceaux, following a family line dating back to 1923. The oldest red grape variety in the region was the favourite wine of Albert Denis, the founder of Domaine de la Renaudie. In his honour, his granddaughters named this cuvée after him. It is made from 100% Côt (Malbec) using his winemaking technique, i.e. no artificial additives. For this 2024 vintage, the vatting periods were shorter, producing an intense red wine with lots of red and black fruit aromas. The tannins are also more supple and rounded. This wine will age for 5 to 6 years, gradually acquiring subtle cherry aromas.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
