Production

Grapes are hand-picked from selected vineyards in the Douro Valley, where old vines grow on steep schist terraces known as patamares . Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures of 30°C, followed by 10–12 days of skin maceration to achieve optimal colour, flavour and tannin structure.

Tasting Notes

This wine shows earthy blackberry aromas layered with hints of warm vanilla spice. The palate is generous and ripe, with flavours of dark plum and blackberry leading to a long, characterful finish with well-integrated tannins.
