Meet the Producer

Onofri Wines is a family-run winery in Mendoza focused on expressing the unique terroir of the Uco Valley. The team prioritises sustainable and organic practices, carefully managing vineyards at high altitudes to produce expressive, terroir-driven wines.

Production

Grapes are co-fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures using native yeasts. Partial malolactic fermentation adds softness and complexity. The wine is aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, 20% new and 80% in third- and fourth-use barrels, balancing texture and aromatics while preserving freshness.

Tasting Notes

Pale gold in colour, the wine offers lifted aromas of white flowers, citrus, and hints of stone fruit, with subtle vanilla nuances. The palate is medium-bodied and layered, showing elegant acidity, a creamy texture, and a long, harmonious finish. Food match Pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, fish in butter sauces, creamy pasta dishes, lobster, and shellfish. Serve chilled at 10–12°C. Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
