Domaine Marcel Deiss's Complantation 2024 cuvée perfectly illustrates the richness of Alsatian terroirs and the estate's unique vision. True to the age-old tradition of complantation', several grape varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and other local varieties grow together on the same plots, harvested and vinified in a single process. This natural coexistence allows each variety to contribute its own character, creating a complex, balanced wine deeply connected to its terroir. The grapes come from plots situated around Bergheim, some of which are classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru, and are cultivated using biodynamic methods to respect natural rhythms and promote soil vitality. Hand-picking allows for precise sorting and guarantees the quality of the harvest. Fermentation, carried out using indigenous yeasts and aged in stainless steel tanks, preserves the wine's freshness and aromatic clarity. On the nose, the wine opens with fruity and floral notes lemon, yellow peach, white flowers enhanced by a hint of pineapple and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is fresh, lively and mouth-watering, structured by an elegant minerality and a lingering, spicy finish. This cuvée is a perfect example of Domaine Marcel Deiss's approach: a terroir-driven wine, true to Alsace, complex and distinguished, which reveals the full diversity of the soils and grape varieties.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
