Altolandon Enblanco – Organic Amphora Wine from Manchuela is a distinctive, organic expression of Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Gris, crafted at one of Spain’s highest-altitude wineries by pioneering winemaker Rosalia Molina. Producer profile At Bodegas Altolandon , Rosalia Molina has built a reputation for producing organic wines that truly capture the essence of DO Manchuela. Situated at 1,100 metres above sea level, these vineyards endure extreme conditions—hot days, cold nights, and bitter winter frosts—that shape wines of freshness and individuality. Certified organic and farmed sustainably, the estate encourages biodiversity, with livestock roaming freely among the vines. Rosalia’s philosophy is rooted in natural winemaking: hand-harvested grapes, native yeasts, minimal intervention, and ageing in amphora or French oak for texture and depth. Viticulture & winemaking The grapes are hand-picked into small 12 kg crates to preserve fruit integrity, sourced from 15-year-old vines rooted in limestone and stony soils. Fermentation takes place spontaneously on the skins in 1,000-litre clay amphorae, with no added sulphites. Cold stabilisation occurs naturally during Manchuela’s icy winters, when temperatures can fall as low as –15°C. This gentle approach preserves both purity and terroir expression. Tasting profile A very pale orange-pink hue introduces a refined, aromatic nose of stone fruit, apricot, mirabelle plum, citrus, and delicate mineral and anise notes. The palate is rounded and full, with impressive weight balanced by freshness, resulting in a wine that is elegant, lively, and remarkably drinkable.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
