High‑altitude vineyards, extreme diurnal shifts, organic farming and a winemaker determined to push boundaries. This is Mil Historias Malbec , crafted by Rosalia Molina at Bodegas Altolandon in the wild, elevated plains of Manchuela. At 1,100 metres above sea level, the vines grow in conditions that test their limits, producing fruit of remarkable intensity, freshness and purity. The result is a Spanish Malbec with depth, lift and a vivid sense of place, shaped by native yeasts, minimal intervention and ageing split between French oak and clay amphorae. A wine born from altitude, biodiversity and meticulous care.
Why You'll Love It
This is Malbec with altitude‑driven energy and organic clarity. It delivers powerful dark fruit wrapped in floral lift, spice and natural freshness, offering a style that feels both bold and beautifully refined. The combination of amphora and oak ageing adds texture without heaviness, allowing the fruit to shine. Vegan, organic and full of character, it is a bottle that stands apart from more conventional expressions. Vineyard and Production The grapes come from a 20‑year‑old organic and biodynamic vineyard set on a flat plain surrounded by mountains, where cool nights and long sunny days create perfect balance. Hand‑harvested after mid‑October, the fruit undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, gentle extraction and extended skin contact. Ageing takes place in third‑use French oak and clay amphorae, giving complexity, structure and a subtle earthiness while preserving purity. Natura l stabilisation during the region’s freezing winter completes the process.
Tasting Notes
Expect concentrated flavours of blackberry, blueberry and plum layered with violet, rose and rosemary. Notes of cocoa, mint, earth, espresso, tobacco, dark chocolate and black pepper add depth and intrigue. Fine tannins and lively acidity give structure and lift, creating a finish that is long, complex and expressive.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
