Source-supplied bottle description

Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.

Aluvional Gualtallary is a fine representation of the character of the place in a cold vintage, at an altitude of 1450 metres on limestone soils. Intense and acute, it has a finesse all its own, which is the very challenge of this very wild area of the Uco Valley. Once again, Zuccardi has done a masterful job with this vintage, with fully developed aromas and flavours. A great deal of complexity, nuance and depth in this superb, mineral Gualtallary, with its restrained ripeness and preserved, controlled wildness.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
