La Colombaia Amarone della Valpolicella is a powerful yet approachable Amarone, offering layers of ripe fruit, spice and complexity. Why You'll Love It

This is authentic Amarone della Valpolicella from Giacomo Montresor, one of Verona's historic wine houses founded in 1892. The traditional appassimento method sees grapes dried for four months until January, concentrating sugars and flavours to create Amarone's signature richness. With 2 years maturation in Slavonian oak casks and small barrels, this wine offers remarkable depth and complexity. A balanced and very approachable style that delivers both power and elegance at exceptional value for Amarone.

The dried grapes are then crushed and fermented in stainless steel for four months. The wine is matured for 2 years in Slavonian oak casks and small barrels, developing richness and depth while maintaining balance.

A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
