Apostoles is a Palo Cortado VORS (Very Old Rare Sherry) aged for an average of 30 years in American oak casks, following the traditional criaderas and Solera system. Its Solera was established in 1862 in honour of Her Majesty Queen Isabella II of Spain during her visit to the winery. Apostoles has been recognised as the Best Wine of the Year in China by Cabeceo Wines. Elaboration Variety: 87% Palomino, 13% Pedro Ximénez Alcohol content: 20% vol Tasting notes Apostoles displays a dark amber colour, reflecting its extended ageing. On the nose, it is elegant and delicate, reminiscent of an Amontillado, with notes of concentrated fruit. The palate is complex and intense, showing flavours of caramel and well-integrated old wood, resulting in a refined, long finish. Food match Serve slightly chilled in a small wine glass to fully appreciate its complexity. Apostoles pairs beautifully with foie gras, aged cheeses, and rich red meats.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
