Source-supplied bottle description

We no longer need to introduce Xavier Vignon and his exceptional wines, but this deserves some particular attention. With a remarkably youthful, dark appearance, this wine gives notes of leather, cedar and dried spices, against a background of black cherry and plum on the nose. Displaying fine, silky tannins on the middle of the palate that gently dissolve into a lingering finish. This is an outstanding wine, which will age elegantly! A Châteauneuf-du-Pape with a distinctive character to sweep any wine enthusiast off their feet.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
