Grown in the renowned Te Muna Road vineyard in Martinborough, this Pinot Noir is hand-harvested and vinified using a meticulous plot-by-plot approach. The wine benefits from careful vinification combining fermentation in stainless steel tanks and French oak casks. A 12-month ageing period in French oak barrels, including a proportion of new oak, lends structure to the wine whilst enhancing the fruit. On the nose, Aroha entices with savoury notes of mushrooms, such as truffle. The palate reveals great purity and elegance, underpinned by juicy red fruit and tannins that are pronounced yet perfectly integrated. A Pinot Noir that is both approachable in its youth and promises to develop beautifully, perfectly illustrating the finesse and unique identity of Martinborough’s great terroirs.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
