From the vineyards of Haro, in the heart of Rioja Alta, Asúa embodies a specific vision of Tempranillo: that of village wines, rooted in their terroir. The vines are planted on clay-limestone and clay-iron soils at an altitude of over 500 metres. Hand-harvested, the wine is vinified in stainless steel vats and then aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, which give the wine structure without masking its identity. The nose is expressive with notes of black and red fruits, enhanced by floral notes, subtle spices and a delicate toasted touch. On the palate, there is a silky texture, fine tannins and a distinct freshness that gives the wine length. The long, nuanced finish reveals all the precision of this Crianza.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
