The 2016 Barolo Vendemmia is a very pretty wine with which to explore the vintage. Airy and weightless in feel, the 2016 is a bit nervous today. Crushed flowers, white pepper, dried cherry and mint are all very nicely lifted. The 2016 will be terrific once the tannins soften a bit. It is very nicely done.
