Château Le Puy cultivates discretion and excellence. Completely off the map, this estate taunts other Premier Cru Classés by producing wines of unbelievable purity. Château Le Puy has never had recourse to chemical processes and claims to have been "organic for three generations." With a mysterious circle of megaliths next to the vines, it attracts curious people from around the world. For Estate Director, Jean-Pierre Amoreau, it "radiates" a particular smoothness over the grapes. These wines are the purest expression of their terroir. Made from a parcel called "les Rocs", Barthélemy is developed through long vinification with nothing added. This wine has a great refinement and a vibrant nose, offering a delicious, crisp, smooth palate over velvety tannins. A great wine!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
