Source-supplied bottle description

Romain Duvernay's Fresia 2023 hails from the sun-drenched terroirs of Beaumes-de-Venise, renowned for producing concentrated and structured wines.

The Blend

, dominated by Grenache and complemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre, faithfully reflects the appellation's style. The shallow, mineral-rich Triassic soils promote good ripeness in the grapes and lovely aromatic intensity. Careful vinification allows for the extraction of colour and structure whilst preserving the wine's balance. The nose opens with notes of red fruit, enriched with hints of mocha and spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, supported by fine, silky tannins. The finish, marked by subtle hints of liquorice, lingers on the palate. An accessible, structured wine, ideal for discovering the character of Beaumes-de-Venise reds.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
