Vinified in oak barrels, produced without additives and with low sulphite levels, this remarkable artisanal volcanic white wine offers a glimpse into Lanzarote's unique terroir. Jable de Tao uses methods specific to Lanzarote to cultivate the vines in hoyos' (a system of holes): planted deep in the black volcanic lapilli, the vineyard sustainably captures minerals and the island's low natural rainfall. The Blanco 2023 vintage, characterised by great freshness and made from several indigenous grape varieties typical of the island, stands out for its delicate, luminous aromas, dominated by white flowers and citrus fruits, underpinned by a salty, mineral note characteristic of the volcanic terroir. Subtle smoky notes also serve as a reminder of this unique soil. On the palate, it displays great freshness, vibrant acidity and a salinity that stimulates the palate. Its fluid, balanced texture, with its long, mouth-watering finish, reflects the wine's geological identity.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
