Numanthia is a super premium red wine from the Toro Region of Spain made from 50 year old ungrafted vines with very low yields. The result is a wine of immense concentration, power, intensity and structure. colour Deep dark bright red with light ruby tones AROMA Both intense and complex, there are several layers of aromatics in this lively nose: first some extremely intense notes of red and black fruits (black sherries, raspberries, redcurrants and cassis), perfectly integrated with sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper) vanilla and toasted characters. MOUTH Impressive fruit expression, concentrated and velvety tannins, leading to a velvety and lively full body mouthfeel. Long and elegant on the finish with an extremely wide range of aromas, like dark fruits, cocoa, toasted and spicy notes, highlights the complexity and handcraft character of this wine.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
