Source-supplied bottle description

Perched above the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the southernmost part of the Bolgheri DOC zone, the organic vineyard of Tenuta Le Colonne enjoys a strategic location in the heart of coastal Tuscany. Bathed in light and well-ventilated, it concentrates the aromas and freshness of the international grape varieties typical of Bolgheri red wines. This fresh and elegant cuvée subtly evokes its environment, blend and vinification: a sunny climate, proximity to the coast, sandy soils, a predominance of Merlot blended with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, and ageing in French oak barrels (approximately 12 months). On the nose, the Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2022 opens with aromas of black cherry and blackberry, with floral and herbaceous notes reminiscent of its Mediterranean terroir. On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety and balanced. Its soft tannins and slightly briny finish, with notes of crisp red fruit, prolong the indulgence!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
