Poggio al Tesoro's Solosole is a 100% Vermentino Bolgheri DOC, made from grapes of Corsican clones of this Mediterranean variety, planted in the Le Sondraie vineyard, in the heart of Castagneto Carducci. Rich in minerals, the sandy-clay soils favour the production of aromatic, round and harmonious wines; characteristics enhanced in 2025 by a vintage with natural aromatic complexity, without excessive concentration. Aged for 5 months in stainless steel vats on fine lees, Solosole 2025 reveals floral and yellow fruit aromas on the palate, with medium body and a juicy texture. In the glass, it develops beautifully, suggesting surprising ageing potential. Balanced, fresh and structured, this cuvée the favourite of Marilisa Allegrini, founder and owner of Poggio al Tesoro embodies the colours, scents and flavours of these authentic Tuscan lands, close to the sea.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
