Albert Bichot’s 2022 Bourgogne Côte d’Or Chardonnay Sécret de Famille is a great snapshot of what white Burgundy is all about without getting overly serious. It’s bright and fresh, with aromas of citrus, crisp apple, and a touch of white flowers, rounded out by a gentle hint of toast from oak. On the palate it’s smooth and balanced, with enough texture to feel satisfying but still plenty of lift and freshness. Easy to enjoy now, it’s a versatile bottle that works just as well on its own as it does with roast chicken, creamy pasta, or a plate of seafood. Renowned wine critic Neal Martin comments that Albert Bichot can make " really quite delicious, complex wines that often surprise people in blind tastings when not swayed by the label ." The 2022s are no exception and the Bichot portfolio is once again on cracking form. Features as one of the 'Top 15 Négociants & Cooperatives ' in Tim Atkin's Burgundy 2022 Special Report.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
