Meet the Producer

Boutinot South Africa is dedicated to capturing the authentic essence of South African vineyards, producing wines that combine quality, value and a true sense of place from some of the Cape's most exciting regions.

Production

Grapes are sourced from selected vineyards on Swartland's granite-rich alluvial soils, which produce low-yield, highly concentrated berries. The fruit is hand-picked and naturally fermented in stainless steel tanks. Around 30% of the grapes undergo whole bunch fermentation and 70% whole berry fermentation to enhance structure and complexity. Daily pump-overs guide fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation in tank. A small portion (15%) is matured for several months in older 300-litre barrels to add subtle depth.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
