La Fleur Solitaire Blanc from Domaine Boutinot is a medium-bodied, elegant white Cotes du Rhone , crafted from a complex blend of Grenache Blanc , Viognier , Roussanne , Marsanne , Bourboulenc, and Clairette. Subtle oak influence adds creaminess and texture without compromising the wine's lively vibrancy, making this one of the most characterful whites in the Southern Rhone.
Why You'll Love It
Domaine Boutinot has been making wines in the Southern Rhone for over 30 years, and La Fleur Solitaire Blanc is the clearest expression of their white wine philosophy: complexity, finesse, and freshness in equal measure.
The Blend
of six traditional Southern Rhone varieties creates a wine of remarkable depth and elegance, while careful vineyard selection and traditional vinification ensure it remains approachable and food-friendly. This is Southern Rhone white wine at its most considered and rewarding. Vineyard and Production Grapes are hand-picked in the early morning for gentle pressing and low-temperature fermentation. Just under a third of the wine is vinified and matured in French oak barrels, mostly third fill with some new, for six months to provide additional texture and structure. The remaining portion is fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and bright aromatics.
Tasting Notes
Fresh, vinous, and refined on the nose, with hints of fennel tops and hedgerow flowers. The palate is nuanced and textured, with a subtle oak creaminess enhancing its medium-bodied profile. A beautifully balanced wine that is elegant yet thoroughly approachable.
Perfect Pairings
Ideal as a refreshing aperitif. Pairs wonderfully with grilled asparagus with olive oil and toasted almonds, goat's cheese salads, grilled fish such as halibut or cod, and creamy chicken dishes including Poulet a l'Estragon. Grape Varieties Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, Bourboulenc, Clairette
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
