Bricco San Pietro is one of the flagship wines of the Broccardo company. A Barolo with a nose centered on fruity and floral aromas; fresh and dry in the mouth, with dense and precise tannins and slightly spicy notes. It is an intense wine, with good acidity on the palate, a fine and austere Barolo that reflects the typical characteristics of the Monforte d'Alba terroir.Vibrant garnet red in color. Delicately perfumed with aromas of ripe red berries and rose petals. Medium bodied and balanced with well structured tannin. Ideal with well matured cheeses, duck, polenta and truffle dishes. Bold and concentrated, packed with charming rose petal, red berry, dried herb and truffle notes over impressive tannins and zesty acidity. Sweet cinnamon spice concludes. Very floral, with dried flowers, notes of pepper and a touch of cedar. The subtly firm, medium- to full-bodied palate shows composed, succulent red fruit. Harmonious and well-integrated. Already pretty but will evolve nicely over the next couple of years. Better in 2028.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
