Produced by the Caparzo estate, the winery that pioneered the appellation's first vintages, this Brunello di Montalcino combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. Made from a wide variety of vines, spread across the different geographical areas of the DOCG the estate covers one of the largest and oldest estates in the municipality Caparzo's Brunello di Montalcino is renowned for the quality of its Sangiovese. On the nose, the 2021 vintage subtly evokes its terroir: wild red berries, toasted Mediterranean herbs, delicate notes of rose and violet, a mineral touch and spicy nuances. Full-bodied and powerful on the palate, it reveals ripe, velvety tannins, shaped by at least two years' ageing in oak barrels. Elegance and finesse unfold on the finish, which is exceptionally long.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
