Source-supplied bottle description
Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.
Although this wine is not labelled riserva', it is released six years after the harvest as if it were one. The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso opens with aromas of wild berries, fragrant violets and crushed herbs, mingling with hints of ploughed earth and new leather. The impressive palate displays remarkable finesse combined with a structure built for ageing, offering succulent flavours of black cherry, raspberry compote, liquorice and tobacco leaf, alongside taut, refined tannins. It is impeccably balanced by a lively acidity. It's already tempting, but wait a little while for even greater complexity!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
