One of the first Brunello di Montalcino wines produced in the Tuscan municipality (the first vintage dates from 1977), a pioneer of the single-varietal concept (100% Sangiovese), zoning and barrel ageing, Brunello Vigna La Casa is a legendary cuvée. Produced from the eponymous vineyard, situated on the Montosoli hill at an altitude of 275 metres (one of the finest plots in the DOCG), with well-drained sandy-clay soil, this Brunello is aged for at least 2 years in oak and 4 months in bottle. Ruby in colour, tending towards garnet with age (built for ageing, it will keep for over 30 years in the cellar), La Casa 2021 offers a typical bouquet of wild red and black fruits, dried herbs, spices and vanilla. On the palate, warm and well-balanced, the wine reveals its fruity aromas, tertiary notes and complexity, in harmony with velvety tannins, refreshing acidity and an elegant finish of remarkable length.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
