Casali del Barone 150+1 Barbera is an expressive red wine from Piemonte , Italy , crafted to showcase the varietal character of Barbera . The grapes are hand-harvested and meticulously sorted in the cellar to ensure only the best fruit is used. Fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures, followed by a 10-day maceration on the skins with daily pump-overs to extract colour, flavour and structure. The wine is then aged in large wooden barrels for three months, allowing the flavours to integrate and soften.
